Notes User Guide

• FL Studio 12: Shortcutlist Tips. Select the Channel above with note data: H. Delete space equal to selection: Ctrl: Del: Insert space equal to the current time.
• Change the selected note property of the note the mouse pointer is near or on. Alt + Arrow Keys. Nudge the position of the selected notes or all notes if no selection is made. Duplicate selection, or all notes in zoom range if nothing is selected, to the right (works also with time line selections) Ctrl + C.
• In the Notes app on your Mac, select the folder in the sidebar. Click the Delete button or press Delete (or use the Touch Bar). Notes in the folder you delete are moved to the Recently Deleted folder, where they remain for 30 days. You can view and recover notes you deleted in the last 30 days.
• Beyond FL Studio, Signal Flow is an important topic in music production in general, and it is often overlooked by beginners. Signal Flow refers to the order of processing devices on a sound. So in FL Studio’s case, it refers to the order of the FX slots. Thankfully, Image-Line have made it.
• I ran the limiting tool on something I made, but in the process it pushed several notes onto other ones. This makes those notes unnecessarily loud etc. Is there an easy way to delete these notes so that there is only one note occupying the same pitch at a time?

You can create folders and subfolders to organize your notes. You can also sort your notes within those folders.

Show your accounts and folders

In the Notes app on your Mac, do any of the following:

• /fl-studio-12-free-download-google-drive.html. If you don’t see the sidebar: Choose View > Show Folders.

• If you don’t see any folders: In the sidebar, position the pointer over the account name until the Show button appears, then click the button.

You can also resize the sidebar—drag its separator bar left or right. If you drag it all the way to the left, it hides the sidebar.

Create a new folder

1. In the Notes app on your Mac, select a folder in the sidebar in the account where you want to create a new folder.

2. Choose File > New Folder, then name the folder.

   You can also move the pointer over the folder in the sidebar, click the More button , then choose New Folder.

3. Do any of the following:

   • Make the new folder a subfolder: Drag the folder on top of the other folder.

   • Move notes into the new folder: Select the notes and drag them to the folder (Option-drag to copy them).

You can’t create a new folder in either the “All [account]” folder or Notes folders. You also can’t move notes to the “All [account]” folder. See About accounts and folders. If you move notes from other internet accounts to your upgraded iCloud account, you can access all the same features in those notes.

Rename or move a folder

In the Notes app on your Mac, do any of the following:

• Rename a folder: Control-click the folder, then choose Rename Folder.

  You can also move the pointer over the folder in the sidebar, click the More button , then choose Rename Folder.

• Place a folder inside another folder: Drag the folder on top of the other folder.

• Move a folder out from inside another folder: Drag the folder to the location you want.

  If you move a folder to the “All [account]” folder, the folder appears in any order you want (not just alphabetical).

Note: Use caution when moving a folder into or out from a shared folder. Doing so may affect who can read and edit the notes within the folder. See Share notes and folders.

1. In the Notes app on your Mac, select the folder in the sidebar.

2. Click the Delete button or press Delete (or use the Touch Bar).

   Notes in the folder you delete are moved to the Recently Deleted folder, where they remain for 30 days. You can view and recover notes you deleted in the last 30 days. After that, notes are permanently removed from all your devices set up with that account.

   You can’t delete the “All [account],” Notes, or Recently Deleted folders, but you can delete notes in them. If you delete all the notes in the Recently Deleted folder, it disappears until you delete more notes. See Delete a note.

If you’ve added people to a folder and you delete it, the folder is deleted from all your devices and all the participants’ devices. See Share notes and folders.
